I don't want to be in that place again,
That dark lonely place, where all I have are my thoughts,
And that sickening feeling fluttering in my stomach,
So stay, please, please, please,

I won't let you go...because you can't leave me,

I don't want to hurt you, I don't want to make you worry,
I don't want to trouble you or be a nuisance....
but I can't do this alone, I can't be alone anymore!

EridanxJohn FlushedEven if he wasn't so desperate Eridan would see what John had going for him. Even if he would have settled for anyone he couldn't help but genuinely want John to be near him all the time. And even if John was dumb and Eridan, as a sea dweller, really had no business whatsoever being even remotely attracted to a human, of all things. Something so completely below himself it was a little sad.

It was worse than crushing on Tavros.

But John was sweet, and he was a good friendleader and he was just good at what he did. Even if he was dumb and even if a lot of his good leadership was done completely by accident. The dork.
