...and this is why I don't use colored pencils....

I doodled this pic at work yesterday--the result of pure boredom. Besides, I haven't drawn a pic with Ruki and Takato for a while. When I got home around ten last night, I considered coloring it on the computer. ...I then decided against it. So, I sat around, watched the new episode of Monk, then pulled out the colored pencils.

I suck at backgrounds.... I'm never trying to make a random background again, especially one with trees that look like crap....

Meh, I need better colored pencils, too....

Comment if you want--it'll make me feel better, anyway.... :heart:

EDIT: Before anyone asks, "What's going on in the pic?" I better explain. Takato got hurt (someone hit him, most-likely) and Ruki comes to save the day!! Gotta protect her man, eh? :D

Really cool pic! I have to agree that dealing with colored pencils is very tricky. You did an awesome job though! Ruki and Takato are the best!

I could see the fight after this scene.

Takato: *Cringing on the sidelines* Jeeze Rika, I knew he brought his friends, but don't you think getting Renamon and Guilmon involved was a little overkill?

Rika: *Smiles at him* Not at all.

Guilmon: That was fun.

Renamon: Yeah, especially when that little twerp peeped his pants when I broke the fat one's arm! *gets evil grin, then sweadtdrops.* Ok, maybe we over did it a little bit.

Seriously, I love both Rukato/Rikato and RenaGuil, so I had to make a bit of OOC humor.
